Joanna is a Co-owner and Partner of Haralambous. She is a member of The South African Institute of Professional Accountants (also a Registered Reviewer), and the South African Institute of Tax Professionals. She has an abundance of experience, having completed her traineeship at Price Waterhouse Coopers (1996–1998), served as Financial Manager at ALSTOM (1999–2001), and later worked as an Associate and Financial Project Manager at ARUP (2001–2003), before returning to what she loves most — private practice.
Joanna holds a BCompt, BCompt Honours, and a Higher Diploma in Taxation. She loves reading, the culinary arts, and watching rugby, and has a passion for complicated tax disputes.
Raymond is a Co-Owner and Partner at Haralambous and Associates. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree and has completed various specialised tax courses over the years. He has 26 years of experience in Consulting and Tax Advisory services. Raymond began his career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC), where he completed his articles between 1996 and 1999, and he is a registered Tax Practitioner with SAIT.
Raymond values building strong, long-term relationships with clients and takes pride in finding practical solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. Outside of work, he’s a passionate Chelsea supporter, enjoys playing squash, staying active with cardio workouts, and occasionally relaxing with a good book.
Bonga joined the company in 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accountancy at North-West University. He completed his articles and is now registered as a Professional Accountant and a Professional Tax Practitioner.
He has always had a passion for studying numbers as a communication tool to better understand business, growth, and efficiency. He is driven by a desire to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding — both in routine and complex business situations — which has made him an exceptional accountant who constantly seeks to improve himself.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading books about growth, progress, and spirituality. He also enjoys engaging with people and relaxing while watching soccer.
Lina is the Office Administrator at Haralambous & Associates, where she’s worked proudly for the past 15 years. With a certificate in bookkeeping and a strong background in company secretarial work and financial administration, she brings structure, accuracy, and reliability to the day-to-day operations of the office. She’s passionate about keeping things organised, supporting the team, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
She also holds a degree in Fashion Design, which she completed in both South Africa and Italy. While her career path led her into administration and finance, her design background has given her a creative eye and strong attention to detail — qualities that enhance her work every day. Over the years, she’s become a trusted and consistent part of the Haralambous & Associates team, known for her professionalism, discretion, and dedication to keeping systems running efficiently.
Candice is an Accounting Article Clerk at Haralambous & Associates, where she’s proudly been part of the team for almost two years. She is currently a part-time student working towards qualifying as a Public Accountant. With a solid foundation in compliance and bookkeeping, and a genuine passion for accounting, she brings a confident and approachable presence that blends professionalism with individuality.
Beyond numbers, she has studied both hospitality and various forms of dance. These experiences have sharpened her creativity, discipline, and sense of balance — qualities she brings into her professional life, helping her tackle challenges with focus and flair. In the office, she’s known for being dependable, approachable, and consistent, with a vibrant energy. Her ethos is that professionalism and personality can coexist while people strive to deliver excellence — all the while staying authentic and unapologetically themselves.
